Johnson & Johnson is facing its largest lawsuit yet over allegations that its talc-based products contain cancer-causing asbestos. The women involved the trial claim that decades of using J&J’s baby powder caused ovarian cancer and the company failed to warn them about the risks.
“The ability to strike is necessary in order to ensure a timely and positive conclusion to negotiations. We have to show that we’re not afraid of striking.” International Brotherhood of Teamsters union letter.
